How ordering works

The answers a bulk buyer asks for first, in the order they ask for them.

Pickup and delivery

Pickup is free. Jason confirms a collection time at the same time as he confirms the order.

Delivery runs inside [DELIVERY AREA] and costs [DELIVERY FEE] an order, whatever the size. If you are outside that area, ask him anyway and he will tell you what it would cost.

Lead time

Bread needs [LEAD TIME] from the moment you order. Bulk and catering usually need longer, and the request form asks for your date so Jason can tell you straight away whether it works.

Jason books every order himself, so a date is only fixed once he has confirmed it. If the date you asked for does not work, he phones you about it.

The minimum card order

Card orders start at [MINIMUM ORDER]. Under that, the card fee takes too much of the order to be worth running, so anything smaller goes through a request or a phone call.

There is no upper limit. If an order is big enough to change how Jason bakes it, he tells you when he confirms.

Allergens

Everything here is baked in one home kitchen Pecans are in the same kitchen as everything else, on the same equipment, often on the same day. Nothing on this site is safe for a severe nut allergy. Jason will say so plainly if you ask him.

Country Blonde with Pecan. Wheat, pecans.
Double-Fed Sweet Levain. Wheat. Baked alongside pecans.
Cookies. Quoted one job at a time, so Jason answers this per order.

If someone eating this has an allergy, put it in the notes or tell him on the phone. Telling him twice is fine.

Paying

Card payment for bread happens on the payment provider's own page, not on this one. Your card number does not reach this website, and it does not reach Jason. He sees your name, what you ordered, and that it was paid.

Catering is quoted first and paid afterwards. The request form does not take a card.

Changes, cancellations and refunds

Tell Jason as early as you can. Bread is mixed the day before it is baked, so a change made [CHANGE WINDOW] ahead costs nobody anything.

After that the flour is already committed. Jason handles late changes case by case, so it is still worth asking him.

Refunds go back to the card that paid, through the payment provider. They take [REFUND WINDOW] to land, depending on your bank.

If a loaf is wrong when it reaches you, tell him the day it arrives.
